Oxygen All Stars is really passionate about competitive Cheerleading. But if that’s not what you are after, they do offer non-competitive cheering and tumbling, low-level competitive cheering and they have just started teaching dance classes in Hip-Hop, Ballet, Jazz and Lyrical Dance.
New for 2020 is Community Cheer which is a $2 class every Tuesday aimed at making cheer sport more accessible to everyone in the community.
There are three levels of ballet classes for 18 months – 5 years. There is also three levels of cheer and tumblings classes for 18 months – 5 years. The Tumbling Program has 14 developmental levels for all ages and abilities.
Oxygen All Stars offers competitive cheerleading teams but they also have ‘Prep and Novice’ cheer teams who compete less and so the commitment and cost is reduced. If competition isn’t what you want for your child, Oxygen All Stars also teaches recreational cheer. There are no try-outs for recreational cheer classes although the recreational tumbling classes are decided on ability.
There is a registration fee of $70 per child with a free training shirt. The cost of non-competitive cheer and dance classes depends on the length of them, starting from $10 a lesson but the price of additional weekly classes is reduced.
There is a discount for paying the full term fee early and there is no requirement to buy Oxygen All Stars uniform. There are also various sibling discounts on offer. There are additional costs involved in competitive cheerleading, including monthly tuition fees of between $100 – $250, competition entry fees, costume payments, choreography fees, music fees and any additional classes/training.
