I haven’t included private music tutors in this page as I cannot be properly informed about how they run their business, where they hold lessons and if there are safeguards like Working With Children checks. If you want to use a private tutor I suggest you sound out friends, family or teachers for recommendations.

Offering classes teaching various theatrical styles including Improvisation, Physical Theatre, Mime, Script Work, Musical Theatre, Acting For The Camera and Circus Skills.
GALAXY TALENT ACADEMY
Offering recreational drama classes at Rutherford for 7 – 12 years as well as a junior dance and musical theatre performance group.
MAITLAND REPERTORY THEATRE
A community-based theatre company which offers acting lessons from 8 years.
STARZ ON STAGE TALENT ACADEMY
Offering musical theatre and singing classes at its East Maitland studio.
